The 2025/2026 academic session began on a high note with a spirit-filled Commencement Service held on Friday, 5th September 2025, at the school hall. The event brought together students, faculty, staff, and members of the community to dedicate the new school year to God and align with His divine purpose.

The theme, Rewards of Righteousness, drawn from Psalm 1:1-6, set a powerful spiritual tone for the service and the entire school year. It was a heartfelt call to live a life that pleases God—walking daily in integrity, obedience, and faithfulness.

The service opened with a vibrant session of praise and worship, lifting hearts in thanksgiving for God faithfulness in the past year and expressing hope for greater things to come. The atmosphere was charged with joy and anticipation as the congregation united their voices in heartfelt worship.

In his opening address, Dr. Owolabi, the president, warmly welcomed everyone and emphasized the importance of beginning the academic year with God guidance. He encouraged students and staff to remain focused, diligent, and prayerful, urging them to seek excellence both academically and spiritually.

The keynote sermon, delivered by Mr. Ejike Egbo, delved deeply into the theme. In his message, he reminded all present that while challenges may arise, those who remain steadfast in righteousness will ultimately reap abundant rewards. He highlighted that righteousness goes beyond personal holiness, extending to everyday decisions that honor God—whether in academics, relationships, or service to others.

Special prayers were then offered for:

Students – for wisdom, excellence, and divine direction throughout the school year.

Faculty and staff – for renewed strength, grace, and wisdom to guide and mentor effectively.

The institution – for growth, greater impact, and a year filled with testimonies of God’s faithfulness.

The service concluded with a resounding declaration of faith, as the entire community committed themselves to live righteously and trust God for His rewards in the coming year.

As the new session unfolds, the institution stands ready to pursue academic excellence while fostering spiritual growth and character development. With Rewards of Righteousness as its guiding theme, the year ahead promises to be one of breakthroughs, favor, and lasting impact.
